The food was good as usual but there are few things which could have improved my experience at the restaurant. First there was one syrup missing, the cutlery was missing and not given to us until all the food was served. We had to ask our server 2 times to get the water refill. I am just being a critic I guess. These are all small things but in case if I ignore this and give a 5 star rating then it will be unfair to all the other places where the experience was actually perfect.

But frankly, iHop is one of my fav brunch places. Value for money and always a good experience.

We wanted to go some place different for breakfast today so we ended up at IHOP.  We have not been here in awhile and my wife remembered she had a buy one get one (BOGO) breakfast free.

Since this place gets crazy busy, we were happy to find parking right across from the front door. We were greeted immediately when we entered.  After a short wait, we were ushered to a table.  Our server, Angel, took our drink order and delivered two cups of hot coffee to us right away.  I ordered the Quick 2 Egg Breakfast and my wife was going Breakfast Sampler off the 55 and over menu.  My wife gave our server her coupon.  He left and then returned and told my wife she could not order from the 55 menu if she was going to use the coupon.  She then changed her order to a regular Breakfast Sampler.

The food came out quickly.  I ordered my eggs over medium.  I did this because the menu described over medium eggs as having firm egg whites with semi firm yolks.  My eggs came out with runny yolks. This was not how they describe them or how I like them. Then my hash browns were undercooked.  My wife's poached eggs were overcooked.  Then you have to ask for everything like ketchup, jam and extra napkins.

The service was pretty good.  Part way through our meal, Angel went on break and Jove took over for him.  The restaurant was clean.  The restrooms not so much.

We got the bill.  It was $25.28.  I thought, how can that be if we had a BOGO coupon.  Then I saw they deducted only $9 for the coupon.  Then I looked at the coupon.  It says, Buy one regular priced entree & 2 drinks & receive an entree of equal or lesser value FREE up to $9 value) Not valid on Holidays or with any other Offers.

I should have read the fine print.  I disagree with their policy that you can't order a meal from the 55 offerings on their regular menu since that does not appear to be a special offer.  Also, who charges $3.49 for a cup of coffee.  You may say Starbucks but I think their drip coffee is less than this.

    I am done with it.

This place was terrible. If it wasn't for the young, eager wait staff, I would have given this place one star.

Food looked reheated, and the ham slices were smaller than half of a dollar bill.

Honestly never coming back again because I had to return a chicken strips appetizer for looking very sad with wilted/reheated fries.

At 7pm it was basically empty, and we had to ask the kitchen staff more than once to help get us someone to help us pay the bill.

Original Pancake House is the place for good breakfast.

My two upsides to this is that the place is clean and our waiter was super cool. But from there, things got annoying. My group ordered the chicken and fries appetizer which came out after our main dishes and it came out cold and the fries were stale and cold. One of the "chicken strips" was just fried dough.

I love breakfast but it seemed like this IHOP decided to insult it with minimal portions and the food being cold again, as if everything was pre made and just assembled. My wife's pancakes were doughy in the middle but by this time, we just wanted to leave and put this place behind us.

Also, weirdly enough, all of the signs were turned off when we got there.

I been to a few different IHops in the past and this one is below standard. Coffee was super bitter and food was not up to par. Had burnt pancakes from a place that's the " pancake house" I grew up with.

However the waiter was attentive and fast. But when he asked how everything was and I responded that my pancakes were burnt, his reply was literally " oh sorry" and that was it.

    This place can do better.
